Bodymind Coaching

How does Bodymind Coaching work?

It does what’s on the label, it helps you connect your body to your mind so you can know what it is your body wants from you. When you have that open line of communication, your body can trust you enough to let go of the chronic pain, then you can live life they way it was meant to be lived, happy.

Simple but not easy. Its been said that burnout can take 3-5 years to recover from. It doesn’t need to take so long when you have the roadmap to get there and the support you need.

Once you have a handle on a consistently (not perfectly) calm nervous system, you can see major improvements in your confidence, relationships, work and finances, and especially happiness.

Do you know what your happy feels like? We can put your focus on:

Sustainable Childlike Fun + Stable Joyful Relationships + Career & Business Success + Healthy Body + Inner Glow Confidence

The simplistic scientific answer is: they have a chronically dysregulated nervous system and are living in survival mode.

It’s exhausting because the body wears down in its search for safety. It kicks off a chain reaction that disrupts sleep, digestion, moods etc; all affecting pain management, work, relationships, and overall quality of life.

And someone living in survival mode cannot see better opportunities for themselves, let alone make choices that would work so much better for their life. The choices they would make if they were thriving instead of just surviving.

Why are these types of people most affected?

Our bodies are wonderful things that need some help and attention in order to do what needs to be done. Emotions like sadness, anger, fear, and worry can interfere with our everyday life when we don’t take the time to connect to them. It can be especially tough for those with:

  • PTSD and CPTSD (especially in those with high ACE scores)

  • Neurodivergence: ADHD and/or Autism (in newly diagnosed women)

  • Traumatic Brain Injury (physical impact or developmental strain)

  • Sustained malnutrition (lack of access to healthy foods or eating disorders)

  • Secondary Trauma (first responders, social workers, medical/psych workers, etc)

Who can benefit from BodyMind Coaching

There are two types of happiness, the calm peaceful happy and the excited joyful happy. Its healthy for us to have a balance of both.

The yin to rest, recover and exist in peace. The yang to energize us to move us into action, to do the things we want to do.

Many people feel both types elude them and they aren’t sure how to connect to happiness at all.
